The JWO Rear Bumper Step Plates (sold in pairs - for driver and passenger side) are made of 14 Gauge Diamond Plate Steel and finished in our Black Fine Texture Powder Coat to make for a rugged and durable plate for accessing the roof of your G from the rear.
If your G is from 2018 or older, the OEM grip tape that came on the factory rear bumper may be pealing or could be completely gone. This leaves an unfinished look to the rear of your truck and also may give you less traction when trying to climb up on your truck.
These plates cover the entire area where the original grip tape and step ledge is on the OEM 463 rear bumpers. To mount, simply clean off any remaining grip tape, remove any grime or build up on the surface (we typically use acetone), and then apply the provided silicon sealant to the underside of the new step plate and press them into place.
