Sold individually. Please select number of front and rear shocks. A full set of four (4) would be 2 front and 2 rear.

*For clients who are using our JWO 4 Inch Springs, the Extensions can be added to get additional travel from your build. The JWO 4 Inch Springs are the longest extending/free length springs on the market and can expand more than any other spring offered. The Extensions will allow you to gain an additional 1.25" of travel in the front axle and 3" of travel in the rear axle. If you are using any other spring or spring and spring spacer combination, these may cause your springs to come loose at full articulation and cause vehicle failure. We do not recommend the Extensions unless you are using our JWO 4 Inch Springs.*

DETAILS:

  • KONl special technology, up-sized
  • Improved ride/handling. Rebound-adjustable off-the-vehicle. Solid, robust attachments welded all around (360 Degree)
  • New heat-resistant sealing technology for increased longevity
  • Large diameter to help with heat dissipation

The Koni Raid shocks are a diamond in the rough when it comes to quality shocks at affordable pricing for the Mercedes G Wagon. With a ~2.75" body diameter, 42mm piston diameter, and 18mm hard chromed rod diameter, these are not only bigger than the Koni SPX Heavy Tracks (Koni's entry level counterpart), they are some of the biggest and beefiest aftermarket shocks in the G Wagon market. Suitable for stock ride height up to 4 inch lifted G Wagons.

Because of their high volume of fluid capacity, these shocks are capable of constant and consistent dampening in the toughest of conditions and do not budge on their ability whether on road or through the outback of Australia. Their adjustable settings range will allow you to vary from softer than non AMG to stiffer than AMG ride and can compliment the ride of both stock springs and aftermarket springs. Because of their wide range of dampening settings and their resilience to hold up in many conditions, they provide great stability for the speedster and smooth suspension cycles for the off road enthusiast.

Unlike other "adjustable" options that have knobs and are defined by their "number of clicks", these shocks are adjusted by fully compressing the shock and rotating the body. They are capable of 720 degrees or two full rotations of adjustment. They are set at the softest setting from the manufacturer and can be stiffened from there. Because of this mechanism, the shocks are only adjustable when uninstalled from the vehicle.

For clients who do not feel the need to adjust shocks on the fly and can adapt to a single setting, these are a great option. While being able to adjust shocks at any time is beneficial when varying load weights and driving conditions, these are beneficial over non-adjustable shocks that can not be changed at all and allow you to set a comfortable setting that meets the needs of most of your driving conditions.

Because of their competitive pricing, beefy characteristics, and ability to adjust the stiffness, we recommend these over any factory or aftermarket non-adjustable shock.
