This is the authentic Wind Deflector that fits to the 463A and 465 Mercedes G-Class "Professional" Roof Rack. Most, if not all, G Wagons outfitted with the "Professional" kit from the factory do not include the wind deflector. In these cases, the wind noise can be very bad as the air flow can travel through the slots of the rack. This wind deflector guides the air over the rack to minimize the wind noise and make for a much more pleasant driving experience.
The LeTech Wind Deflector (7096) also provides four mounting areas to fit auxiliary lights. Our go-to solution for this is 4 Baja Designs Squadron Pros. For the two inner positions, we used the "spot" pattern and for the two outer positions, we use the "driving combo" pattern. This is an optional add on to the wind deflector. When using these lights, we also recommend using the sPod BantamX w Touchscreen which minimizes wiring into the cab and only requires running a single cable into the can to function the touchscreen controller. All of the remaining wiring is contained in the engine bay. To eliminate any wiring to the cab, a stand alone sPod BantamX module can also be used and controlled via bluetooth so there is no wiring through the firewall whatsoever.
