The JWO Front Steel Integrated Winch Bumper is designed and manufactured 100% in the USA for the 2016-2018 G550, 2013-2018 G63 AMG, G65 AMG, and W463 4x4 Squared models. For other 463 and older models, please visit here. Designed to house a winch full time so you're always ready for the trails! Constructed entirely by hand out of 1/4 inch steel plate that is cut, welded, and blended to look like one piece.

Bumper Includes:
-3 piece Bumper including main frame (center section) and the two wings that cover the corner coolers on these models. The three pieces are bolted together with Grade 8 hardware for a secure and continuous finish.
-Mounting Hardware to mount the center section of the bumper onto the truck and the wings to the center section.
-Textured Black or Smooth Satin Black Powder Coating
-Cutouts and bracketry for the parktronic sensors and the cooler into the mainframe of the bumper
-JWO Bull Bar made specific to this bumper for additional protection and running aux lights
-Freight Shipping to USA Addresses - while some bumper listings do not show the shipping price, we have this already figured into our pricing model so the price you see is the price you pay. Freight shipping alone on bumpers and other large items is in the ballpark of several hundred dollars minimum. When you shop bumpers that don't include shipping, this can be very misleading to your budgeting. If you are located outside the USA, please message us for export shipping prices.
ORDERING NOTES:
"Powder Coat Finish": This bumper is offered in textured black or satin black powder coat finish only. For any other paint or powder coat finish options, please email your request to JackWagonOverlanding@gmail.com PRIOR to purchase for approval and quote. We typically recommend the Textured Black finish which is similar to the finish of most aftermarket off road accessories and compliments the heavy duty nature of the bumper.
While the JWO Detachable Winch Bumper was focused on functionality and a rugged appearance, we spiced up the visuals of this model adding more aggressive lines. By having the winch integrated into the bumper, we were able to increase the approach angle even more over our previous design for users that look to optimize their off road capability. With the approach angle in mind, we chose to omit tow hooks from this design which would become the hanging points of the bumper. Rather, the winch hook can be stored against the fairlead and the tow hook(s) located at the skid plate can be used as pulley points if necessary.
This Bumper fits the OEM skid plates of these vehicle models.
Another staple of our bumpers, this bumper is constructed entirely out of 1/4" steel. No plastic covers. No thin sheet metal to form a "shell" around the bumper. This is a heavy duty, USA designed, manufactured, and tested bumper and arguably one of the stoutest in the commercial vehicle world. With all of this, the bumper itself weighs in at approximately 150 lbs. With a 10k winch installed, there is approximately 175-200 lbs total added weight over the factory bumper which, on a 6000 lb truck, is an insignificant difference.
Through our initial testing phase, we concluded that it is more likely that the frame of the truck itself will begin to deform before our bumper or winch tray so with this, we recommend the use of a 10k Load Rated Winch like the Superwinch SX10SR or the Borne 10K Winch w/ MultiColor Rope. The winch pocket has the standard (4.5" x 10") winch mounting holes and a front plate with typical fairlead mounting holes and cutout for winch line to run through.
This bumper is designed to fit Parktronic sensors with factory mounting pieces and the coolers of all G550, G63, G65 AMG and 4x4 squared models in their factory location. This minimizes installation costs and effort during install while some other options require a good bit of modification to truly fit the truck. Given that all coolers remain in their factory locations, we have provided ample airway slots to keep air flowing directly to the coolers through our bumper. Our bumper also bolts directly to the frame at the factory mounting points via supplied hardware. Our bumper to frame mounting brackets are significantly reinforced over factory options and any other bumper we have seen on the market which will minimize the chance of bending during use like others have been known to do. Note that this bumper does not accommodate for the Distronic (adaptive cruise control) sensor. Because it often becomes inoperable based on other vehicle modifications in the suspension/tire department, we chose to omit this sensor functionality from the design for optimal symmetry and the best angles possible.
